Fernando González Gómez (Madrid 1984): Director and screenwriter. He has directed and written over thirty short films, for which he has received various national and international awards, including his nomination for the Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Film, and seven nominations for the Mèliés d'Argent for Best European Fantastic Short Film.
He made his feature film debut with 'Standard' in 2020, for which he also wrote the screenplay and edited, and received the Vanguard Comedy Award at the prestigious Austin Film Festival. In 2022, he released his second film, ‘The Passenger', co-directed with Raúl Cerezo, with whom he also directed ‘The Elderly', which will be his third feature film with a commercial release.
